STATEMENT BY NORTH SHORE AFL-CIO EXECUTIVE SECRETARY DANIEL J. O’MALLEY ON ELECTION OF TERRY MCCAFFERTY TO THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS
“On behalf of the North Shore Federation of Labor, I congratulate former Pipefitters Local 120 Business Manager Terry McCafferty on his election to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. It was my honor to formally nominate him at Saturday’s Cuyahoga County Democratic Party Executive Committee meeting. I have known Terry for many years, and have always been impressed with his integrity, thoughtfulness, and commitment to the principles of democracy. These qualities make him an outstanding choice for the Board of Elections. Dedication and service to community have been hallmarks of Terry’s distinguished career, and I am grateful for his continued willingness to serve by way of this important new role.”
