Citizens Not Politicans

IT’S TIME TO END GERRYMANDERING IN OHIO. When politicians draw biased, ridiculously shaped voting districts to favor their own interests, it’s called gerrymandering. Ohio is one of the ten most gerrymandered states in the country. Ohio politicians even recently implemented voting districts that the Ohio Supreme Court ruled unconstitutional. The Citizens Not Politicians Amendment will end gerrymandering by empowering citizens, not politicians, to draw fair districts using an open and transparent process.
IT’S ABOUT OHIO VOTERS PICKING THEIR POLITICIANS, NOT POLITICIANS PICKING VOTERS. Right now, in Ohio, politicians and lobbyists manipulate voting districts to protect their interests and guarantee their re-election. As a result, incumbents running for re-election almost never lose. In other words, we let politicians choose their voters.
WE WANT FAIR DISTRICTS AND A TRANSPARENT PROCESS NOT GERRYMANDERING. The Citizens Not Politicians Amendment bans lobbyists and politicians from the process and instead empowers voters to choose their politicians. Join us today to restore power to where it belongs: with citizens, not politicians.
